A quick and elegant charcuterie board featuring creamy honey-drizzled brie paired with fresh summer berries, assorted crackers, and toasted nuts. Perfect for easy entertaining and light summer gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz (225 g) honey brie wheel (e.g., President or Fromager d’Affinois)
  • About 2 cups (300 g) fresh mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries)
  • 23 tbsp raw or wildflower honey
  • 12 cups assorted crackers and crostini (water crackers, multigrain, toasted baguette slices)
  • ½ cup (75 g) toasted mixed nuts (almonds, walnuts, pecans), lightly salted
  • Fresh herbs (optional, e.g., rosemary or thyme sprigs)
  • Olives or cured meats (optional, e.g., thinly sliced prosciutto or marinated olives)

Instructions

  1. Rinse all berries gently under cold water and pat dry with paper towels. Remove stems from strawberries and slice them in halves or quarters depending on size.
  2. Carefully cut the wheel of brie into wedges or leave whole if you prefer guests to slice themselves. Place the brie in the center of your serving board.
  3. Fan out crackers and toasted baguette slices around the brie, creating a base layer for easy access.
  4. Scatter the mixed berries around the board, filling gaps and balancing colors. Keep clusters of the same berry together for a natural look.
  5. Spoon the toasted nuts into a small bowl or scatter lightly over the berries and crackers. Add olives or meats in separate small bowls or artfully drape prosciutto slices.
  6. Using a spoon or honey drizzler, drizzle honey over the brie, letting it pool slightly on the edges. Optionally add a little extra honey around the berries for sweetness.
  7. Place a few sprigs of rosemary or thyme for an aromatic finish (optional).
  8. Adjust any items that look sparse or crowded to create a balanced, colorful, and inviting board.

Notes

Let brie sit at room temperature for 10-15 minutes before serving for best creamy texture. Add berries last if preparing ahead to avoid sogginess. Use a light honey drizzle to avoid overpowering the cheese. For dairy-free, swap brie with plant-based cheese and honey with agave syrup. For gluten-free, use gluten-free crackers or vegetable slices instead of crostini.
