This Easy Pumpkin Cold Foam Iced Coffee is a quick and affordable copycat recipe that delivers a thick, creamy pumpkin-spiced foam on top of cold coffee. Perfect for fall mornings, it uses simple ingredients and takes less than 5 minutes to make.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup 2% milk
  • 2 tablespoons pumpkin puree (100% pure, not pumpkin pie filling)
  • 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 cup strong brewed coffee (cold or double-strength)
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Brew your coffee first. Make 1 cup of strong coffee or cold brew. Let it cool completely in the fridge while you prepare the foam.
  2. Combine the foam ingredients. In a mason jar or small bowl, add 1/4 cup heavy cream, 1/4 cup 2% milk, 2 tablespoons pumpkin puree, 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract, 1 tablespoon maple syrup, and a tiny pinch of salt.
  3. Froth until thick and pourable. Using a handheld frother, blend the mixture for about 30 to 45 seconds until it holds soft peaks. If using a French press, pump the plunger vigorously for about 30 seconds.
  4. Fill your glass with ice. Pack the glass to the top with ice cubes.
  5. Pour the cold coffee over the ice. Fill the glass about three-quarters full with your chilled coffee, leaving room for the foam.
  6. Spoon or pour the pumpkin foam on top. Gently spoon the foam over the back of a spoon onto the coffee so it floats on top.
  7. Optional garnish: Sprinkle a tiny pinch of pumpkin pie spice or cinnamon on top of the foam. Serve immediately with a straw.

Notes

Temperature matters: everything needs to be cold for the foam to hold its shape. Don’t skip the salt—it balances sweetness and enhances pumpkin flavor. If you don’t have a frother, you can shake the mixture in a sealed mason jar for about 60 seconds. For a dairy-free version, use full-fat canned coconut cream and oat milk. The foam mixture can be stored in the fridge for up to 2 days; re-froth before using.
