A quick and easy no-fuss snack combining crunchy mini pretzels, creamy peanut butter, and a drizzle of honey for a sweet-salty, protein-packed treat perfect for school or on-the-go.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups (60 g) mini pretzels (preferably mini twists)
  • 1 cup (250 g) peanut butter, creamy or chunky
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) honey, raw or organic
  • Optional: pinch of flaky sea salt
  • Optional: mini chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine 1 cup (250 g) peanut butter with 2 tablespoons (30 ml) honey. Stir well until smooth and slightly glossy, about 1-2 minutes. Warm peanut butter slightly if needed.
  2. Gently fold in about 2 cups (60 g) mini pretzels, coating each evenly without breaking them.
  3. Spread coated pretzels onto a baking sheet or plate lined with parchment or wax paper in a single layer.
  4. Optionally sprinkle a tiny pinch of flaky sea salt over the top.
  5. Let the bites set at room temperature for 10-15 minutes or refrigerate for 5 minutes to firm up.
  6. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or refrigerated for up to a week.

Notes

Use room temperature peanut butter for easier mixing. Don’t overload pretzels with peanut butter to keep crunch. Let bites set properly to avoid sogginess. For nut allergies, substitute peanut butter with sunflower seed or soy nut butter. Gluten-free pretzels can be used for gluten-free option. Optional toppings like flaky sea salt or mini chocolate chips add flavor contrast.
