A quick and easy no-cook caramel apple dip made with cream cheese, caramel sauce, and toffee bits. Perfect for last-minute guests or a simple snack, this creamy dip comes together in under 5 minutes and is always a crowd-pleaser.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened to room temperature
  • ½ cup caramel sauce (thick, store-bought or homemade)
  • ⅓ cup toffee bits (plus extra for garnish)
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of sea salt (flaky if available)
  • 34 medium apples (such as Granny Smith or Honeycrisp), for serving

Instructions

  1. Soften the cream cheese: Take the 8 oz block of cream cheese out of the fridge at least 30-45 minutes before starting. It should be soft enough that your finger leaves an indent when pressed.
  2. Whip the cream cheese: Place the softened cream cheese in a medium mixing bowl. Beat with a hand mixer on medium speed for about 2 minutes until completely smooth, fluffy, and pale. Scrape down the sides of the bowl halfway through.
  3. Add the caramel and vanilla: Pour in the ½ cup caramel sauce and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. Beat on low speed until just combined, about 30 seconds. Do not overmix.
  4. Add powdered sugar: Sift in the 2 tablespoons powdered sugar (or sprinkle it in and beat slowly). Mix on low until incorporated, about 15 seconds.
  5. Fold in the toffee bits: Add ⅓ cup toffee bits to the bowl. Use a rubber spatula to fold them in gently until evenly distributed. Reserve a tablespoon or two for garnish.
  6. Season with salt: Sprinkle in a pinch of sea salt and fold once more. Taste and adjust salt if desired.
  7. Chill (optional but recommended): Cover the bowl and refrigerate for 15-20 minutes to let flavors meld and firm up the dip.
  8. Prepare the apples: While the dip chills, core and slice the apples into thick wedges (about 8 per apple). Toss with a little lemon juice if desired to prevent browning.
  9. Garnish and serve: Transfer the dip to a serving bowl. Sprinkle reserved toffee bits on top and add a tiny pinch of flaky sea salt. Arrange apple slices around the bowl and serve.

Notes

For best texture, use full-fat block cream cheese and let it come to room temperature. If dip is too thick after chilling, let it sit at room temperature for 5 minutes. If too thin, refrigerate for 30 minutes. Dip can be made a day ahead; flavors deepen overnight. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. Freeze for up to 2 months.
