This easy copycat recipe creates a velvety pumpkin cream cold foam that sits atop your coffee like a little cloud of autumn joy. It’s quick, simple, and tastes like the season in a glass, saving you money and drive-thru time.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 tablespoons whole milk
  • 1 tablespoon heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon pumpkin puree (100% pure, not pie filling)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1/4 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 cup strong brewed coffee or cold brew

Instructions

  1. Brew your coffee: Start by brewing a cup of strong coffee or pouring your cold brew into a tall glass filled with ice. Set aside.
  2. Combine the foam ingredients: In a small bowl or mason jar, add the whole milk, heavy cream, pumpkin puree, vanilla extract, maple syrup, pumpkin pie spice, and a pinch of salt. Give it a quick stir with a spoon to break up the pumpkin puree.
  3. Froth or shake: If using a handheld frother, blend until the mixture is thick, airy, and has doubled in volume (30-45 seconds). If using the jar method, screw the lid on tightly and shake vigorously for about 30 seconds.
  4. Check the texture: The foam should be thick enough to coat the back of a spoon but still liquid enough to pour. If too thin, froth or shake for another 10-15 seconds. If too thick, add a tiny splash of milk and mix gently.
  5. Assemble your drink: Slowly pour the pumpkin cream foam over the back of a spoon onto your cold brew or iced coffee to help it float on top.
  6. Serve immediately: The foam is best right after you make it. Give it a gentle stir if desired, or sip it through the foam.

Notes

Use cold ingredients for best frothing. Break up pumpkin puree first to avoid lumps. Do not use hot coffee as it will melt the foam. Best served immediately; foam does not store well.
