A quick and easy no-churn peaches and cream ice cream recipe that captures the fresh, natural flavor of ripe peaches with a creamy, smooth texture—no ice cream machine needed.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 medium ripe peaches, peeled and diced
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 (14-ounce/396g) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream, cold
  • 1 teaspoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • A pinch of salt
  • Optional: sprinkle of cinnamon or handful of toasted pecans

Instructions

  1. Macerate the peaches by tossing diced peaches with granulated sugar, lemon juice, and half the vanilla extract in a medium bowl. Let sit for 10 minutes at room temperature.
  2. In a large chilled bowl, whip the cold heavy whipping cream with an electric mixer or whisk until soft peaks form (about 5-7 minutes).
  3. In another bowl, mix the sweetened condensed milk with the remaining vanilla extract and a pinch of salt.
  4. Gently fold about one-third of the whipped cream into the condensed milk mixture to lighten it, then fold in the remaining whipped cream carefully to preserve airiness.
  5. Fold in the macerated peaches along with their juices gently, avoiding smashing the peach chunks.
  6. Pour the mixture into a freezer-safe container, smooth the top, cover tightly, and freeze for at least 6 hours or overnight until firm but scoopable.
  7. Remove from freezer about 10 minutes before serving to soften slightly. Scoop and enjoy.

Notes

Do not overbeat the cream; stop at soft peaks for best texture. Macerate peaches to enhance flavor and juiciness. Fold whipped cream gently to keep airiness. Let ice cream soften 10 minutes before scooping. For dairy-free version, substitute heavy cream with canned coconut cream and use dairy-free sweetened condensed milk. Optional mix-ins include cinnamon, toasted pecans, berries, or bourbon for adult twist.
