This iced pumpkin chai latte is creamy, spiced, and perfectly sweet—a quick and easy Starbucks copycat made with simple pantry ingredients. It’s the ultimate fall drink that comes together in under five minutes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 tablespoons pumpkin puree (not pumpkin pie filling)
  • ½ cup chai tea concentrate (e.g., Tazo Organic Chai Latte Concentrate)
  • ½ cup milk of choice (whole milk or oat milk recommended)
  • ½ teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons maple syrup or brown sugar
  • Ice (a generous handful)
  • Optional toppings: whipped cream, cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice, caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl or liquid measuring cup, combine 2 tablespoons pumpkin puree, ½ cup milk, ½ teaspoon pumpkin pie spice, ½ teaspoon vanilla extract, and 1 to 2 tablespoons maple syrup or brown sugar. Whisk vigorously until smooth and no lumps remain.
  2. Taste the pumpkin mixture and adjust sweetness or spice to your preference.
  3. Fill a tall glass to the top with ice.
  4. Pour ½ cup chai tea concentrate over the ice.
  5. Slowly pour the pumpkin-milk mixture over the chai and ice. Stir gently if desired, or leave layered for presentation.
  6. Optionally, top with whipped cream, a sprinkle of cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice, and a drizzle of caramel sauce.
  7. Serve immediately.

Notes

For a dairy-free version, use oat milk. To make it less sweet, start with 1 tablespoon of maple syrup. The pumpkin-milk mixture can be made ahead and stored in the fridge for up to 3 days. If using brewed chai instead of concentrate, ensure it is fully cooled before pouring over ice.
