A quick and easy homemade copycat Starbucks refresher recipe that combines fruit juice, green coffee extract, and fresh fruit for a vibrant, refreshing drink perfect for hot days.

Ingredients

Scale
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 cup white grape juice or apple juice
  • ¼ cup fresh lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons green coffee extract
  • 3 to 4 tablespoons simple syrup (adjust to taste)
  • ½ cup frozen or fresh berries (strawberries, blackberries, raspberries) or mango chunks
  • 1 cup cold water or sparkling water
  • Ice cubes
  • Optional: mint leaves
  • Optional: chia seeds

Instructions

  1. Prepare the simple syrup by combining ½ cup sugar and ½ cup water in a small saucepan. Heat gently until sugar dissolves completely. Let cool.
  2. In a pitcher, pour 1 cup white grape or apple juice and ¼ cup fresh lime juice. Add 2 tablespoons green coffee extract and stir well to combine.
  3. Stir in 3 to 4 tablespoons of the simple syrup, adjusting sweetness to taste.
  4. Let frozen berries or mango thaw slightly, then add about ½ cup to the mixture.
  5. Add 1 cup cold water or sparkling water to lighten the drink. Add ice cubes generously.
  6. Taste and adjust sweetness or tartness by adding more syrup, lime juice, or water as needed.
  7. Pour into tall glasses, garnish with extra fruit or mint if desired, and serve immediately.

Notes

Use fresh lime juice for best flavor. Adjust sweetness gradually with simple syrup. Frozen fruit chills the drink naturally and releases flavor as it thaws. Sparkling water adds fizz but can be omitted for a still drink. Store liquid base separately from fruit and ice for up to 24 hours. Avoid shaking green coffee extract vigorously to preserve flavor.
