These Easy Homemade Uncrustables Snack Bites are quick, nostalgic, and delicious homemade snacks featuring soft bread sealed with peanut butter and fruit jam. Perfect for lunchboxes, quick treats, or family gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 slices white sandwich bread, crusts removed
  • 1 cup creamy or chunky peanut butter
  • 1 cup fruit jam or preserves (strawberry or grape recommended)
  • Butter or cooking spray (optional, for greasing)

Instructions

  1. Lightly grease a baking sheet or line it with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
  2. Remove crusts from 12 slices of white sandwich bread using a sharp knife.
  3. Spread about 1 tablespoon of peanut butter evenly on half of the bread slices.
  4. Spread about 1 tablespoon of fruit jam evenly on top of the peanut butter layer.
  5. Place the remaining bread slices on top of the filled slices, pressing gently to seal.
  6. Use a 3-inch round sandwich cutter to press firmly and twist slightly to seal and cut out snack bites. Alternatively, use a glass and knife to seal edges carefully.
  7. Remove excess bread edges, leaving perfectly sealed snack bites.
  8. Place snack bites on the prepared tray and chill in the fridge for 15 minutes to firm up or serve immediately.

Notes

Use fresh, soft bread to avoid tearing when sealing. Spread peanut butter thinly as a moisture barrier to prevent soggy bread. Chill snack bites for 15 minutes to firm up the filling. Can substitute peanut butter and jam for allergy-friendly or seasonal variations. Store in airtight container in fridge up to 3 days or freeze up to 1 month.
