A refreshing and creamy iced tea latte combining floral lavender, bright lemon, and classic Earl Grey tea, sweetened with honey and mellowed by honey oat milk. Perfect for warm days or cozy moments.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 Earl Grey tea bags
  • 1 teaspoon dried culinary lavender
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 cup (240 ml) honey oat milk
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Bring 1 cup (240 ml) of water just to a boil (about 205°F / 96°C). Pour over the 2 Earl Grey tea bags and 1 teaspoon dried lavender buds in your teapot or heat-safe pitcher. Cover and steep for 5 minutes.
  2. Remove tea bags and strain out the lavender buds using a fine mesh sieve. Let the tea cool to room temperature (about 15-20 minutes) or chill in the fridge to speed up cooling.
  3. In a separate container, combine 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice and 2 tablespoons honey. Stir well until the honey dissolves. Warm the lemon juice slightly if needed.
  4. Pour the cooled tea into the honey-lemon mixture and stir thoroughly. Adjust sweetness or tartness by adding more honey or lemon juice if desired.
  5. Slowly stir in 1 cup (240 ml) honey oat milk to the tea mixture.
  6. Fill a tall glass with ice cubes and pour the latte over the ice. Stir gently to combine.
  7. Optional: Garnish with a thin lemon wheel or a sprig of fresh lavender.

Notes

Do not oversteep the Earl Grey tea to avoid bitterness; 5 minutes is ideal. Use culinary-grade dried lavender for best flavor. Warming lemon juice helps dissolve honey better. For stronger lavender flavor, use lavender simple syrup. Store tea base without oat milk in fridge up to 2 days; add oat milk and ice before serving.
